"ALPHABET PROJECT: A-Z"
i. Modern or traditional or any other theme
ii. San Serif or Serif
In this 4th task, students are required to create an alphabet project by choosing one of the elements given above. Student need to propose 6 ideas and only proceed 1 for final execution. The requirement include with:
a) Depth research on type and styles that inspire their work - samples need to print and shown as evidences
b) Process and development of the design - Sketches
c) Produce graphic item - Quotes poster/ Poster/ T-shirt design and etc.
c) Final artwork - Manual and Digital Outcomes (different medium may needed for the project)
MAGAZINE PRINTED
Introduction
This module aims is to develop students' ability to use computer technology for the expression of ideas and for creating static two-dimensional communication. Students will be encouraged to explore vector and raster oriented software tools to achieve communication objectives within specified formats.
In this module student need to propose a wide range of design project that best fits your interest, style and creativity It could be from graphic design to multimedia, either print based or digital or both.
Student need to demonstrate your knowledge and skills on creative concept, design management and effective communication during the project development. It also should portray your style and sense towards design. The project could range from anything as long it's related to design field. The artwork can be on a digital platform / environment and outcome could be print based or digital based. All the tasks must be well plan and execute.

Week I
PROJECT BRIEFING
At this week, student will be introduce to module specification and overall project that need to be hands-on. Overall hands-on project are consists of:
i. Manual Task
ii. Digital Design Task
Class Activity 1
Each of students need to create a self-branding/personal logo towards yourself. By referring to SWOT Analysis brainstorming, student need to draft and expand with different ideas that reflect their self and personality. You may need to face the process from mind mapping the identity until the verification. Requirement needed:
i. Mind mapping on SWOT self-analysis
ii. 2 pcs of A3 size sketches of ideas and development
iii. Final artwork (Manual and Digital Outcomes)

Week 2
TASK 1
COPY & PASTE: "ANATOMY OF TYPOGRAPHY"
Student need to sketch out the anatomy of typography each point that refer to different meaning and function. Student are compulsory to finish the activity in the class in A3 size of drawing paper and compile it later as a progress.

Students need to capture and compile all the data collected in 2 different places, College Area, Public Space/Area/Mall, Cafe and others. Student are required to document in a form of Power Point with few point related to the data. E.g:Location, medium, font used, color apply

Each of student need to select different type of fonts to portray the emotion visually. The need is to expose student with variety range of fonts available and apply appropriately according to the emotion presented. Requirement needed:
i. 10 different emotion with different choices type of fonts HAPPY STRONG, ANGRY SAD,
SHY LOVE, BLIND, COOL, FIT, FALL or any other words related
ii. A3 size paper

Through the observation and understanding from previous tasks, students need to produce a creative digital artwork in a form of magazine, storybook, comics or etc. Based on their selected theme and concept. Student either can choose any theme such as beverages entertainment, lifestyle/fashion, travel sports or any other interesting topic to be propose. Students are advised to use actual photo taken as evidence of originality artwork produce. Students are required to demonstrate their skill and creativity into a nice arrangements of the images, text, colours used, background and etc (if needed). The submission requires both softcopy and process which is included printed and digital version.
The process are included with:
(i) Mind mapping and mood board
(ii) Sketches as idea development and progress
(ii) Final outcome: Manual and Digital version

TASK 6
PORTFOLIO AND PRESENTATION
At the end of semester, student need to design an individual portfolio inspired by own creativity. Students may choose to document all data collected in a form of editorial design such as magazine or journal. Student may need to clearly justify the final medium they used and prepare a neat outcome.
The process, progress and development of the works need to be updated on the blog every 2 weeks.
i. Compile all the tasks an

iii. Final project need to be compile separately

At this point, they need to present the work, which is included:
